Parippu Payasam(Moong Dal Kheer)

Parippu payasam is one of my favourite payasams from Kerala.This is the traditional payasam my amma used to make it on my birthdays and for Onam celebration.This payasam is made of yellow moong lentils,jaggery,coconut milk and some condiments.Please follow the link to see the step by step process.

Tips:If you need dark colour for your payasam please use dark jaggery.
