Beef Ularthiyathu(Pala Style)


Beef ularthiyathu is a special dry dish in Kerala.Recipie and method of cooking differs region to region.Beef is marinated with turmeric,kashmiri chilli powder and salt.Then cooked in pressure cooker together with tomatoes,sliced onions and water.Shallots,green chillies,garlic,ginger,curry leaves etc sauteed and all spices and masalas are fried in coconut oil.Cooked beef joined with masalas and fried in low heat untill it becomes darker in colour.
Tips:For better taste,add crushed fennel and coconut oil in between while frying.
